Job Summary
We are looking for experienced and qualified Padel Venue Managers/Coaches to join our expanding team!
As a Padel Manager/Coach, you will be responsible for managing and leading the team, overseeing the day-to-day operations and ensuring the highest standards of customer service. You will be expected to create, implement, and deliver programs, organise tournaments, and recruit coaches, general staff and players.
You will provide instruction on a variety of topics such as strokes, technique, strategy and game play. You will be responsible for creating and delivering lesson plans, providing feedback, guidance, and monitoring of student’s progress.
Venue and Company description
This is the first venue opening for Social Sports Society a padel tennis and leisure company based in London. Our venues combine the passion for sport and padel with the environment and service you would expect. Offering memorable experiences for all.
Our mission is to introduce and promote the exhilarating sport of padel tennis, along with other sports, to everyone. Creating a vibrant community of sports enthusiasts, from all walks of life.
Padel Wembley will be a 3-court open air operation with a small F&B offering in addition. We strive to provide exceptional services, top quality facilities, and an environment that encourages an active lifestyle, social interactions, and a sense of belonging.
Responsibilities

Customer and community
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations and ensuring the highest standards of customer service
- Ensuring excellent visitor satisfaction
- developing and managing appropriate engagement/feedback process
- Manage collaboration with local organisations with their use of and relationship with the venue enabling S3 social impact initiatives.
Colleagues / Team
- Recruit, train and supervise colleagues, including suppliers (cleaning, security, other services).
- Manage and lead the venue team.
- Accountable for all people / HR functions related to
- Collaborate with cross-venue colleagues and partners where required
Operations
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements
- Develop and implement policies, processes and procedures
- Manage the venues daily operations
- Provide exceptional padel coaching to our customers
- Create, implement, and deliver programs, as well as organising tournaments.
- Managing all maintenance and repairs of the venue grounds, property, equipment, and facilities.
Business management and development
- Work with the Director of Operations to drive continuous improvement in venue offering and experience (based on feedback from customers, relevant partners, stakeholders, other data, ‘market’ and wider trends)
- Proactively drive sales and court occupancy
- Ensuring that the venue and facilities are clean and organised.
- Organise and sell corporate events, private events, and build relationships with local schools & Organisations.
- Create and manage the weekly staff rota, ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service.
- Handle customer relations, addressing grievances and ensuring a positive experience for all customers.
Venue manager profile
We are searching for a proven club / venue manager or operations manager with well-developed communication skills. You will be customer focus, highly organised and have an excellent attention to detail. Great leadership qualities with a strong understanding of health and safety are requirements
All with the flexibility to work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends. The Venue manager will be expected to host customer events and sell private functions to help create a community.
You will have a passion for sport, hospitality and social interaction. Be a team player and a. Can Do… attitude to inspire the team and players. A First Aid, UKCC or Level 2 coaching qualification would be beneficial but not required.
