Richard has a vast amount of experience in the hospitality industry, training as a Chef and Baker before working for Albert Roux, as head chef of the Albert Roux Cafe. After Richard moved to front of house he managed venues for the likes of Novus Leisure, ETM Group, Incipio Group, Archer Street and Gaucho. Richard has also owed an operated his own venue. His last role before joining us was Director of Operations for Backyard Cinema.
Richard has been training ITF TaeKwon-Do for 32 years and holds 5th Degree black belt. He is former multiple World, European and British champion across both TKD and kickboxing. Richard still runs a martial arts academy that is home to junior and senior title holders.
Using his wealth of knowledge Richard set up and ran a program teaching martial arts in over 30 London schools. Reaching a wide selection of children, some of the courses were targeted at groups with learning and behavioural difficulties.
