Bouldering is a style of climbing stripped down to its raw essentials. Leaving behind ropes and harnesses and done close to the ground the only equipment used are climbing shoes and a bag of chalk.
The goal of Bouldering is to complete a climb from start to finish using designated climbing holds usually of a specific colour which follow a set route or ‘problem’.
This is all done over safety mats, your challenge is to problem-solve while moving up the walls on short but tricky routes, using balance, technique, and strength. This popular style of rock climbing is an Olympic Sport!
