They combine their respective expertise (Jesper in hospitality, leisure & social entrepreneurship, as the former co-owner of Urban Deli; Rachel in social impact, architecture and urban development as an award-winning trained architect with a decade of experience in social housing) with infectious charm & shared vision – and we’re so grateful this has been recognised by the press.
We’re honoured for our senior team members to have been named among the biggest names in British padel, together with GB men’s #1 player Christian Medina Murphy and Padium co-founder Houman Ashrafzadeh.
Released in the wake of Social Sports Society’s first venue launch in Wembley, the feature put the spotlight on Social Sports Society’s mission to repurpose urban spaces in order to provide multi-sport facilities for all ages and abilities. “It’s rather marvellous news that padel happens to be central to achieving that ambition,” wrote editor Mike Dale.
As Jesper told The Padel Paper in a previous interview: “Padel is one of the most fun, accessible sports. It can be played at any level, it’s easy to learn and has a unique ability to bring together a cross-section of society.”
